HAPPY DEEPAVALI 屠妖节快乐

屠妖节又称万灯节,庆祝光明驱走黑暗,邪不胜正的日子。是印度同胞最盛大的节庆,融合着印度数千年的宗教,神话与艺术内涵,亮灯仪式是所有印度教徒延续至今的重要仪式。

数千年后的今天,印度教徒依然用各式各样的灯火装饰屋子,彻底光明。大部分家庭还会以香油沐浴祈祷,代表洗净过去一年的晦气,迎接崭新的一年。按照习俗,一家人将换上新衣,点着油灯,在布置得亮丽的家中,共享天伦,亲友间互相拜访。

不过,最令人感觉兴趣的其实是他们米粒艺术,也是必行的风俗,作为迎宾之用,印裔同胞将用染上色彩的米粒,拼成一幅或大或小的"Kollam"铺在大门前,犹如一幅五彩地毯,其实重要性就和华人传统的门联及中秋节的月饼一样重要。 (摘自南洋商报)

Deepavali is a festival with joy and brightness for Indian, in Masean we introduce it to Non-Indian, so that every student celebrate the festival. We also invite a Indian teacher to explain the meaning of Deepavali, as well as learning some Indian Arts and Religious practice from her. From the picture shown above, we know that every student enjoyed very much.
